Axis is a free, open-source folder of markdown files. Drop it into your project and your AI agent starts to plan, track tasks, keep records, remember between sessions, and verify its own work. No app, no server, no account - everything stays on your computer.

How it works
Three steps, about a minute - then it just works.
Download the folder from GitHub and rename it for your project.
Open it with your AI tool - Cowork, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Gemini CLI - and say hello.
Answer two questions (a project name and a one-paragraph description). Your agent follows the Method from there - type !help any time to see what it can do.
Out of the box it works. With the Method, it compounds.
